" You make me smile, please stay for a while now:) "

Smiles, are a guine thing that someone gives out when laughing, remembering jokes, or having fun.
I usually am a smiley person except when I being made fun of, blamed, or am really really bored.
I usually smile when squishy laughs or says something stupidly- funny or when he tries to be serious. I laugh coargesoly at Karina and Irie. Also at some of my other peers. Some other things that make me smile are being around family and friends. I don't know why though, I guess its because I have this warm blanket like feeling when I'm around a tranquail atmosphere. Being around friends makes me seem welcomed and helpful. Two of my favorite things.  I smile hugley and with all my heart when going SHOPPING!!! I love to shop for shoes, clothes, and JUNK that I will never use:) I smile when I'm around animals, too. I think its because those are my favorite things and because I would like to be a vet when I grow up. I smile when I recieve gifts ( my favorite thing). I smile whne I get good or excellent grades. I wear a smug smile when people make rude remarks like dork or nerd. I usually smile because I'm proud or hilariously crying on the inside:)
Smiles are something that I love to share. Some things make me smile like never before and other give out little crooked half hearted smiles. Crooked smile are my favorite. Smiles are somethings that are neverforgotten and make your heart feel warm. I LOVE to make people smile or laugh. My favorite thing next to SOCCER, and ANIMALS, is SMILING!!!
Smile:)

2010 Resolutions

My resolutions for 2010 include maintaining my straight A's, overcome my shyness around new people, and becoming a better role model and sister.

I plan to maintain straight A's by competing all assignments, following directions, and being a teachers pet once again! JK:) I hope all my teachers continue to be very supportive and encouraging! I thank all the teachers for helping and encouraging us to do our best.

I plan to overcome my shyness by trying to meet and mingle with new people. I also plan to overcome being so shy with my presidential position at EACPA. I think that will do a big part in helping me be more confident and productive.

I plan to be a better role model and sister by not letting my emotions take control of me. I also plan to be a better role by leading students to be better in academics and look forward to being a good student not because you're are forced to but because you want to.

Jessica Rausmussen

Dr. Jessica B. T. Rasmussen is a former teacher at Leander ISD. She teaches Biology and Principles of Technology. She loves children! She was my mentor at the University of Texas Elementary School. She was AWESOME!
Ms. Jessica was very inspirational and helpful. I admire her for all her qualities! She loved animals, she was a vegetarian, she used to be a geologist at The Jackson School of Geosciences. Let me tell you a little about Ms. Jessica's career as a Geologists!

That was AWESOME! She worked with rocks! I mean you may think those rocks you see on your playground or when you are walking home, I'm talking quartz, lapilli tuff, vitric tuff, and keratophyre! She has been to many places including Chile, Mexico, New Mexico, China, and all over the world! She even brought me a necklace made of Jade! It was gorgeous! It had the imprint of a monkey. I loved it!

And the odd thing was we shared the same interests! We both love animals, Twilight, plants, and reading! It is so cool! Whenever she came we would walk around in the garden and point out things. We would talk, watch movies, and play games. On rare occasions she would bring her Nintendo DS and play ''educational" games. Hehe!

Ms. Jessica is a wonderful role model and has a gorgeous personality! She is a beautiful person. She is a great inspiration for anyone who needs a friend! Thank You Ms. Jessica for everything!

Crash.... Burn..... Around......

Elizabeth Fish was driving down the road when a cop car suddenly pulled her over. "Step Out of the car mam." His partner was asking Derek (my partner) all of these suspicious questions. He started to search the car and suddenly pulled out a capsule of white powder from my purse and the officer alerted for back-up. I was then surrounded by twenty parole cars. I was recited my rights and had a lake of tears Next thing I know I am escorted to a jail cell in a neon green suit. I'm soon set on a bail and probation. I am released and asked to give a urine sample and I was tested for drugs. The test came back positive and my child is then taken from me and given to my Mother. She has custody and I am able to see her on certain days. I was terrified and yet I was stupid enough to continue.......... Later I quit and now I am back on my feet. My story is truly a miracle.

I heard about this from www.drugfree.org

It was about a mother and her struggle to care for her child.

It happened in Iowa

The Best Advice

The Best Advice I have ever received would probably be from my parents although my friends give me advice it always isn't helpful.

My parents always give me fantastic advice. In academics or family sometimes even friends. They give me a lot of inspirational, strong, and kiss-up advice! :) They love me very much and would do everything in there power to help and encourage me! They always tell me things like "Listen To Your Heart!", "Your too smart for that Val", or "Where ever you are you'll always shine and never try to put yourself down think about the good things!"

My friends tell me things like "Yeah go right ahead!", or "Don't believe That!", or "No, Yes, Maybe?" and by listing to them I usually get in trouble! But then again sometimes they give me great advice and/or encouragement. Also my cousins and sisters give me good advice on usually academics or friends.

If I had to pick the top three it would probably be like this..........................

  1. Listen To your Heart and take your own path

  2. Don't be a follower

  3. Where ever you are you'll always shine! You stick out to me like a Hot Pink star in a patch of white stars.

Sticky Situations

Sticky Situations

"Sticky Situations" for me would be trying to avoid telling an adult about a disagreement. Why? Because I like to be right and prove my point and doing that involves needing someone by my side.

It is very important to learn how to handle things maturely, intelligently, and on your own. In life you will get teased or bullied and sometimes you can learn how to deal with it on your own. Unless an adult is necessary.

Here are some tips to help you avoid telling ann adult about your disagreements:

  1. Try to make a mature solution

  2. Ignore rude comments from the "bully"

  3. Express your inner thoughts to the "bully"

  4. Be gentle with the situation

  5. Propose a "treaty" to find a solution

  6. Respect the "bully" and there suggestions

  7. Listen to the "bully"

  8. Talk to one another

  9. Ignore threats and swings

  10. Be open to all solutions and descisions

  11. Stay strong
